I just opened the game and minimized it...

The music was fantastic. Very aural...I felt very relaxed. Too bad the rest of this game is sub-par. Graphics were choppy and MS-Painty. Little interactivity. NO story! I love text-adventures with a passion, and this just didn't do much of anything for me.

You just have to stroke it harder.

Finger-tappin' goodness.

Wow, this is truly amazing. The sound was fantastic (it helps that I'm a metalhead). The fast-paced emtal riffs go perfect with this game. It's very original though, and having the scene going on in the background was cool, too, even if I couldn't pay attention to it the whole time. The only probably I have with it is the button-prompting icons. I think that every arrow should have a different color; it would help distinguish them.

Nothing too exciting here.

The entire game was very bland. The sprite graphics are fun, but slightly cliche and not too exciting. The whole item-trading basis of the game was lame, also. The intro graphics, font, and colors are nice, they swayed my opinion slightly. It's a shame there were so many typos (Zelda and Link should be capitolized and Library has only one "i"). Maybe you can tweak this a bit and turn it into something fun. Maybe include some weapon-wielding and better object-collision detection. battl3d.

Not looking so hot.

This flash game is far from anything I would consider even semi-amusing to play at this point. In all honestly, I'm going to sound like a jerk, but I think that this game needs to be trashed. The idea is alright, rinsed-and-repeated, but it is definately useable, just the graphics, sounds, and the overall way it was executed in the cut was nothing amazing. In fact, it was depressing.

What the crap!?!?

Holy shit! I just found something I newgrounds that I really, really like! That doesn't happen too often, I'm a prick about judging, but this is a most impressive game. Graphics were very appealing to look at, and I usually don't dig sprites. The sound! Man, this shit was tiiiiiight. Got a little remixed Daft Punk, some techno Mario, all very good. Very fun to play, too. It's challenging, so all of you panty-waste momma's boys who are looking for a "good RPG with a compelling story" should probably piss off now, eh? This game is fast, frantic, and entertaining. Props!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun little game.

Props, buddy. When you create a game that is that entertaining, it's easy to forget about stellar graphics and 5.1 surround sound. Just ask Mario. I'll give you a "4" for Humor if only for the penis level you sick puppy.

This game lacks everything. I really couldn't care less about your crappy visuals, but the game sucked, too. I really think that you should make something that people are going to want to play.

2-bit?

Hmm. Very nice. Entertaining. I noticed some glitches, though. The first zombie I killed I shot about 10 times while he's lying there, even though you need only shoot him once and then it dies. Also, when you hit "d" quick you shoot, but when you hold it down for a bit, your sprite does a recoil reaction. I think you should tweak this, because the reaction is pretty neat. Try and change it so he recoils even with a short keystroke.

DariusR responds:

The recoil action happens...unintentionally. The bullet is actually part of the main character MC, so the wall hitTests are purposely ment to stop the MC from going anywhere, and thus leading to the coil reaction since the bullet also stops when it hits a wall. Complicated shit ya' know.

I think somewhere within the five minutes I played this "game" I might have been mildly entertained. Oh wait...no...I was just distracted from doing more important and amusing things, like cleaning the toilet or puking blood.

Wonchop responds:

Remember kids. Don't forget to puke blood once after breakfast and once before you go to bed.

Adequate fun.

Yeah, I'll agree that the end cutscene was way lame, but it was pretty fun to play, you know? Creative idea, too. I bet it was a lot of fun playing it. I understand that the house was real (hence the title) but there's got to be a way to make the graphics less grainier. Switching the picture type? PNG, JPEG? I don't know. Props.
